Semeli Estate
After Barafakas Winery we shall go to the prestigious winery called Semeli.
Founded in 1979, Semeli Estate is a leading Greek winery and one of the country’s most significant wine-related developments.
The Semeli Estate is located at an altitude of 600m on the slopes of the hilly Koutsi region, one of Nemea’s most celebrated “crus”. In this uniquegrape-growing microclimate crop levels are low and fruit and natural acids are in positive balance.
This state-of-the-art 4,000m² facility, is a benchmark winery at a national level both in terms of innovative layout and excellent services.
Blending traditional values with the latest advances in viticulture, this winery uses a gravity-fed process that takes full advantage of the sloping terrain.
We shall have a winery tour here, in order to get familiar with the wine making procedures, and learn many interesting stories. After the tour we shall enjoy 4 wines from the Estate combined with the wonderful view from the winery.
